Yoopers rule!

Dear GTGT:

I have no intention of "getting outta" the Sunshine State. I had enough ultra-bad winter weather in my younger days (in states such as Illinois, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming).
I sure don't miss the 100 percent humidity with heat indexes over 100 when living in Florida. Here in n. Alabama we get 4 seasons.

Dear Djarum300:

Of course, it's humid, but where I live, the actual temperature has NEVER reached 100 degrees, and my personal preference is not to deal with ice, snow, sleet, sub-freezing temperatures and windy, blizzard conditions.

At least, where you live in Alabama, it's not nearly as bad as the states I mentioned earlier, although on two occasions, I've bowled tournaments in Huntsville (in March) and run into cold and snowy conditions.

LOL. Four seasons, in Alabama? I have lived in Alabama, I remember when I joined the Army, left Chicago in January and flew down to Alabama, that is not winter. That is just a cooling off period.

4 seasons are over-rated, IMO. You just need 3; Spring, Summer, and Fall. Winter can go pound sand.

The humidity can be a bit much down here in July/August, but I prefer sweating over freezing! Plus, when it's hot out I eat less = less fat ass to stuff in my shorts! ;)

We have 4 seasons. But we have them about 12 times a year!
