Indeed, how could there be a "mass shooting" in a modern-day bowling center -- unless the gunman happens to come across a large birthday party or a weekend cosmic bowling event?

No need to shut them down. We have gun free zones. Can't take a gun into the theater OR a concert. So nothing will ever happen in those venues. So, if we just make all areas gun free zones that would solve the problem, right? BTW, there are about 2,000 babies killed every day in U.S. How come nobody is crying for them on TV?

You are wrong. Schools are gun free zones in Michigan, unless you have a CPL which allows you to open carry. theaters are gun free zones and municipal buildings are gun free zones as well as hospitals. Now, where do most of these shootings occur? Thank you.

In Texas you cannot carry, even with the CHL, in any building displaying appropriate signage stating weapons are not permitted there. Any business owner can put them up. Places that make over 50% of their profit from alcohol sales are no carry zones (and must display signage stating they are no carry due to that rule), as are schools and government buildings. I'm not 100% sure schools or government building have to display the signage though. Also, a business owner or manager can verbally request you not carry on premises (if they notice your weapon) and you must abide.

And of course, the criminals follow the rules. Isn't it absolutely wonderful how all we need to do is make a rule to end a problem and POOF!! The problem disappears. Look how simple it was to win the drug war. Make herione illegal...poof! It's gone.

Well, I have to say that that was the biggest mouthful of jargon I have ever read. I actually read it three times to see if I missed something, and my conclusion is....YES. I missed the entire point of your post. I have NO idea what the fuck you're trying to say here. First of all, RESPONSIBLE gun owners DO follow the rules, whereas criminals do not. Therefore, making new rules for gun owners will only affect the responsible gun owners and make them more vulnerable to the crooks. Also, I've never heard of a gun "addict". Maybe if you could explain that term and exactly how that condition is achieved I may better grasp your point. I wear my gun daily, without exception. I wear it outside because you never know when a fucking nutbag feels he'd like to strip me of my belongings, or life. I wear it at home because there are such things as home invasions, etc. Would you call me a gun addict? If this is your explanation then, guilty as charged. But then I fail to see how you paint me in a bad light. The fact that I feel compelled to protect myself against the growing community of liberal entitleists has no correlation to being physically or psychologically dependent on an inanimate object. So, I'm forced to ask this question after studying your post.....WHAT?

I've had a concealed weapon since 1971. Staring in 1968 I was traveling in a band and we toured many states and parts of Canada. Do you have any idea what it was like for a bus load of kids with hair down to their asses and bell bottom jeans back in 1969? We'd go into eateries only to be told to get out because the other customers wouldn't understand. Or, when we did find a place to serve us we'd hear things from across the room like "Throw their slop in the middle of the table and let them gobble it up like the fucking pigs they are". We'd come off the stage after a gig and pack up our shit, and while loading the bus we'd have a handful of tough guys hanging around threatening to cut our hair or maybe turn us into girls. We carried two loaded double barrel shot guns with us all the time and were forced to use them occasionally. We'd get to a motel (if we could find one to serve us) and be followed by some jealous fuckers because we always had a crowd of women around us. They throw bottles thru our bus windows and bang on our motel room doors. A few times we had rocks tossed thru our motel windows. Sometimes when we headed out of town we'd be surrounded by cars trying to throw shit at us or run us off the road. A couple of times when I was driving I actually pushed the fuckers right off the road and into the ditch. Not too many cars are a match for a 66 passenger 1963 International bus. When I'd had enough I bought a Colt .357 Trooper revolver to carry and kept it with me at all times. I cannot count how many times that weapon was pulled because someone was extremely near being beaten. Yes, I was a bit unethical at times and actually forced a few of the tough guys to crawl away from us like the fucking snakes they were. But you can't say they didn't deserve it. So now I own a Glock 19 that is loaded with 16 rounds of plus P hollow points, a Glock 42 loaded with plus P hollow points, a .22 auto handgun loaded with hollow points, and a Mossberg 715T loaded with 25 rounds of hollow points. I have about 3000 rounds of ammo in the house. And last Thanksgiving I caught someone attempting to steal two turkeys from my car so I pulled my Glock 42 from my pocket and held the dirty little fucker until the cops showed up. Cop told me I did a good job. So, yeah, I carry a fucking gun because I'll tell you what. I'd rather have one on me ready to go and never need it, than to need one and not have it. If the latter happens it's too late.

Sounds like another crybaby conservative that just can't stand to let the police do their job! You didn't need no gun, all you needed was a nickel and a payphone to call for help! Or, perhaps you should have lectured them on how their behavior was hateful, wrong, and that it made you feel unsafe. I'm sure all they needed was to be kindly told their actions were hurtful and not nice! :Roflmao:
 
I THINK YOU SHOULD DO WHATEVER YOU THINK YOU NEED TO DO TO PROTECT YOURSELF G. I JUST HATE THAT PARANOIA RULES THE DAY. AND THE TURKEY THIEF, I WOULD HAVE BEATEN HIM WITH ONE OF THEM, THEN CALLED THE POLICE. OR GIVEN HIM ONE IF HE WAS JUST HUNGRY.
