Video is old. I never got into the birther thing. He had a birth certificate and considering it was before everything was digitalized, I don't doubt it's real. Is it possible he has a birth certificate from somewhere else? Sure.
I don't even have my original birth certificate. My parents were never issued one. They were given a receipt of birth by Florida Vital statistics. They went down and had to get one about a year later (which they lost). The one I have is an official "copy".
Just thinking on it and after discussions I had with my parents, the ability to game the system back then was kinda easy.
I first needed my birth certificate as an adult when I moved to Alabama and needed to change licenses.
My university didn't require it. My SS card was all that was needed.
My High school didn't require it.
My private k-8 school didn't require it.
The ONLY reason my parents had to get a copy was to put me on insurance, but to get the insurance a SS card was required, so they needed it when I was an infant to get the SS card.
The system has changed in such a way that an SS card was all that was needed, but since they can be fraudulent, then a birth certificate is usually required along with an SS card.
