Olympics

Anyone watch them? I'm a junkie, though I prefer the Summer Games. It's a privilege to watch the finest athletes in the world at work.

We usually watch (in no particular order) the downhill snow skiing, bobsled, diving, ice skating, gymnastics, and if I can catch them the ladies beach volleyball. ;)

The only feelings I have for the olympics pissedoffness. Many of the good TV shows I watch are interrupted by shit for which I give no fucks.

I'd like to watch the table tennis, but for some reason they only play that in the middle of the night. Bastards!

Even though I've been involved in sports journalism for much of my life, I've NEVER watched (or paid much attention) to the Winter Olympics -- except for editing stories and placing them on sports pages in connection with my job.

I enjoy the Winter Games. Downhill skiing, hockey, ski jumping, bobsled and luge are my favorites. Curling is fun to watch. Not really into the figure skating, don't understand the scoring. Seems to me, a bit too much favoritism towards certain competitors over other lesser known ones.

Went to the Winter games in Lake Placid 1980, had a great time, one huge party the entire week I was there. Don't remember too much, tho.

Really enjoying the Olympics.

One problem, though.

Too many white people are getting medals. This is just wrong. There needs to be a rule that penalizes whites due to their privileged status.

This is an outrage! An outrage, I tell you!

And the Nationalism be damned!

They have to give those medals to the people who didn't earn them. The left will be happy.
