You're failing to grasp my point. I don't know how to say it any clearer. I'll try. Killers are gonna kill, and it doesn't matter whether they use guns or toothpicks. The gun is only a tool and doesn't kill anyone until some nut job pulls the trigger. You can't measure VIOLENT crime by the number of deaths using guns, because if you take away one tool they use another. Violent crime is violent crime...period. As I showed you, when the gun were removed from Australia and the U.K., stabbings and rapes increased nearly 10 fold. What should they do about the rapes, ban dicks? Or maybe keep the women indoors 24/7? What about knives? Ban them? What about the people who make bombs? You are thinking that removing gun stop violent crime. You're wrong and it's been proven over and over again.

EDIT: Also, your figures are not including justifiable shootings. Take away the suicides, cop shots and general protection shootings and there are very few left.

Questions: How many of the guns being carried in the bitter dregs of society do you think are legal?
