McCain Slyly Slams Trump in Statement to Australia

John McCain is reaching out to Australia after President Trump's angry phone call with the nation's prime minister. In a statement released Thursday, McCain said that he had called Australia's ambassador to the US to express his "unwavering support for the US-Australia alliance," Politico reports. McCain also asked the ambassador to assure Australians that the rest of America stands behind the alliance and behind Australia. Slate notes that McCain's statement did not mention Trump by name, but did include a veiled insult directed at the POTUS: "Those of us who took part in the conflict remember well the service of more than 50,000 Australians in the Vietnam War, including more than 500 that gave their lives." Trump did not serve in Vietnam because of bone spurs in his heels which his doctor found after he had four previous deferments.

Trump is upset about a deal then-President Obama made with Australia that involves the US accepting 1,250 refugees who sought asylum in Australia. He referred to the "problem" again Thursday, Australia's ABC reports, telling reporters, "I have a lot of respect for Australia, I love Australia as a country," but that the deal would need to be investigated further. Press secretary Sean Spicer also addressed the deal Thursday, telling reporters Trump is "unbelievably disappointed in the previous administration’s deal that was made and how poorly it was crafted, and the threat to national security it put the United States on." Spicer said that there would be "extreme vetting" of each refugee admitted to the US under the deal.
 
If someone wants to make news, all they have to do is say something negative about Trump (or say something that MAY seem negative about Trump), and the lamestream media "experts" and so-called reporters will be all over it.

... but some people -- obviously including MI2AZ -- feel that EVERYTHING that has a negative connotation regarding Donald John Trump should be disseminated, and some -- possibly not including MI2AZ -- feel that such items require little or no factual basis.
 
Bam Bam still has his crew of malcontents that will follow him as if he were Jim Jones. Bam Bam, accompanied by Soros can manipulate these mush brains into anything. They're pulling the strings and all the little puppets jump.

SERIOUSLY NOW ... Surely you realize that EVERY SINGLE DAY, there are multiple stories in the lamestream media and elsewhere -- and you certainly find and post a lot of them -- that are directly or indirectly negative toward Trump.

And seriously, you should know full well that such WASN'T the case during the eight long years of Barack Hussein Obama. There never was a constant and daily barrage of negative items about Obama in the lamestream media, and common sense dictates that had Hillary won, the lamestream media would be treating her in a completely different manner than they treat Trump.
 
I meant that for the past few years all you guys could do was talk negatively about Obama, even turning topics that were not political into an opportunity to rip him. Now, the roles are reversed. I am doing all I can to rip Trump (rip fart) the draft dodger, since he is in office.

I used to ask not to turn my topics into political ones and it was usually ignored. I much prefer to post things that are strange or weird.

Dear MI2AZ:

I'm not talking about what may or may not have been said in these forums. I'm talking about the negative propaganda about Trump -- and the lack of such negative reporting about Obama -- in the lamestream media.

Negative propaganda about Trump??? JFC, I can't believe anyone would do such a disservice to our country. Such a honorable and beloved man our Donald is to us.
