Only in America could we have a website owned by a descendent of Mexico that is visited daily by members who support building a wall to keep Mexicans out... :Unsure: :Confused: :Laugh:
 
I don't support building a wall. I do support borders and legal immigration but not a wall. Not many on this site will understand these things and will see them as mutually exclusive. That's sad.
 
I think most agree with you on the legal immigration front, but feel that a physical wall helps identify/strengthen the border security against illegal immigration.

I'm not sure a wall will do much, personally. They already have tunnels and other ways around checkpoints that would defeat said wall.

The resolution will not be as easy as just putting up a barrier. Many moving parts and players to this problem...
 
… but ANYTHING that would help stem the tide of illegal immigration is a big PLUS, and a wall would do just that.
 
WOULDNT A WALL SERVE THE SAME PURPOSE AS AN 8' WOODEN FENCE AROUND YOUR YARD? IT DOES NOT KEEP EVERYONE OUT, BUT IT KEEPS A WHOLE LOT OF UNDESIRABLES OUT.
 
I'm in favor of a high voltage, high frequency electric fence. Touch it and fry, like a bug zapper. Power it with solar panels and step-up xformers with super capacitors.
