I'll have no reservations on shooting one down. I'll be reprimanded for firing a weapon in a residential area, but I'll know what the fucking drone is!

Whether or not Pentagon or other high-level government officials are willing to tell the American public about the situation, there's no way that they don't have at least some evidence of what's going on.
If they can't actually determine the daily "launch sites" and/or determine (or track) where the objects "disappear" to, our national security and national intelligence is dangrously flawed or corrupt.
