Turn on the sports this A.M. and these fools are talking Breanna Taylor.

In a general level everyone, including me, you, and sports commentators have opinions on all this stuff. However, they believe they know what the process is. What the process should be and what the outcome should be in all this. Emotional mob rule is NOT justice.

These commentators don't have law degrees in most cases. They dismiss the fact that these processess are set forth by law.

A GRAND JURY decided. This is the process. The AG didn't decide.

So all of a sudden we basketball players are lawyers? Sports Analyst? They've seen all the evidence?

People need to start getting pissed that these fools on TV and I'm sports are dismissive of the process.
 
It happened a while ago, in fact. Anyone who is a TV personality somehow actually thinks his/her OPINION matters, or even counts. What's worse is that they believe WE desire know what that opinion is. It's just another case of celebrity liberals attempting to cram their shit down our throats. I want to turn to a channel and watch the program I choose and not be subjected to shit I can elsewhere. I stopped watching the academy awards shows, music awards shows, etc. I want the information and entertainment these shows are SUPPOSED TO CONTAIN. Not a Trump bashing hour or two. I don't need a lecture on BLM, nasty cops, or any current affairs for that matter. Just show me who won the fucking awards!! I cancelled Netflix when they gave Hussein and Michael Obama multi-million $ contracts. I wrote and told them WHY I cancelled. I quit watching ESPN to get all the sports scores because they turned it into a current affairs channel. The list goes on and on, but you know what I mean. I guess celebrity is the new expert.

That's not it at all. It's about the law and process.

1. These people are truly that dumb and believe justice is about how they feel, and they have no idea of the process. That the AG, which many are blaming, has nothing to do with the 12 people on the grand jury

2. They understand the process but they don't care and want to invite riots.

Even if they brought up charges a jury wouldn't convict.

If people don't like the process then change it. Make that argument. Don't bitch about the outcome just because the process doesn't produce the outcome.

I'm an engineer so maybe I see things a little differently.

Because they can. I've said repeatedly that a tny percentage of these actions today are actual protest. Most of it is purely thug lifestyle. They lay in wait of an excuse.

I like that idea. Attacking a peace officer should have its consequences.
 
Long overdue. It's time law enforcement get the respect the deserve. I hope it works out well and other states follow suit. But you damn well that it will never see the light of day in democrat run states.
 
I have a few issues with this as a libertarian. I have no problems with making a higher penalty for rioting...etc. But fundamentally State and local governments cannot deny peaceful assembly.

I also have an issue with the States telling local governments on how to fund or run their police force. The people get the government they vote for.

I have the same issue when I hear Crowder stating the federal government should do something about the riots. Legally, the federal government has no authority. From a conservative or libertarian standpoint, he should be advocating for local and state officials to take charge.

The only way the Feds can override the local governments is thru the Insurrection Act. I've not done the research, nor have I even read the act, but I believe there are with border line rights violations or something. All I know is that the democrat governors allowing their states to be destroyed because they're too fucking proud to ask for help are despicable people.
